Literacy is the major hindrance to development. Illiterates are unable to read any signs, health warnings and to utilize the government service and programs.

To overcome this, adult literacy programs are conducted among the disadvantaged communities in the remote rural area of Kadaisikadu, Pachaloor. The project includes in providing reading and writing skills through the Adult literacy centers of the trust. This has created personal empowerment, and awareness among the underprivileged people in the rural areas.
